Piers seem to make for interesting level design due to the natural aquatic border on all sides, and of course their friendliness for modular components. And building an effective aquarium level is certainly somewhere on my ever-fluctuating bucket list. But a merge of the two is dangerous chemistry indeed, and should be handled only by experienced professionals at all times.
